The ordered replacement battery for a JVC camcorder is sufficient. The battery seems stronger than the original battery. It is important to note that this replacement battery is fully connected to the camcorder via the contacts on the battery. As a result, the battery responds to the information button on the camcorder, by displaying exactly what the remaining capacity is. (There are replacement batteries that do not provide that information)
